Capes

A cape falls from the shoulder with no set-in sleeve, so it drapes over whatever is underneath instead of fitting to the arm. That makes it the most forgiving piece we build and the easiest to wear over a jacket or a long dress. The collection includes hooded capes, and runs across mink, Russian sable, chinchilla and rex rabbit, alongside Italian cashmere capes trimmed with fur. Hand-built in our Kastoria atelier, in sizes 36 to 50.

By fur: Mink, Russian Sable, Chinchilla, Rex Rabbit, Cashmere. Other lengths: Coats, Jackets, Vests.

FAQ

What is the difference between a fur cape and a fur coat?

A cape has no sleeve. It hangs from the shoulder and falls open over the arms, where a coat is fitted through the shoulder and sleeve. Because nothing has to fit the arm, a cape sizes far more easily and layers over tailoring without bulk.

Do you make hooded fur capes?

Yes. This collection holds hooded capes in Russian sable, rex rabbit and cashmere with fur trim, as well as stand collar and notch collar designs without a hood.

Which furs do you make capes in?

Mink, Russian sable, chinchilla and rex rabbit, plus Italian cashmere capes finished with fur collars and trim. Cashmere and mink are the largest part of the collection.

What sizes do you make?

Sizes 36 to 50, hand-finished in Kastoria, Greece. Capes are more forgiving across sizes than a fitted coat. We also take custom orders and made-to-measure commissions.
