Fox Fur Coats
Fox is the longest haired fur we work with, so at coat length it reads as volume rather than weight. This collection holds every fox piece we cut long: natural fox with a stand collar and a hooded version, and dyed blue sky and blue black, one of them collarless. Each one is made by hand in our Kastoria workshop, in sizes 36 to 50.

Is natural fox the same as red fox?
Yes. Undyed fox carries the animal's own colouring, which across most pelts is the gold and cream of the red fox. The two natural pieces here are undyed. Blue sky and blue black are dyed, which is why they look nothing like the natural ones.
How warm is a fox coat?
Warmer than it looks. Dense underfur sits beneath long guard hairs, and the air trapped between them does the work. It is bulkier than mink for the same warmth, which is part of the appeal rather than a drawback.
Are these full length coats?
No. Every fox piece we cut long is a half coat, which stops between the hip and the knee. Fox at full length would be a custom order.
Is this real fox fur?
Yes. Every coat is made from real fox pelts, graded and matched by hand in our workshop.
How do you care for a fox coat?
Shake it out instead of brushing, which separates the long hairs without breaking them. Hang it with space around it so the fur is not crushed, and if it gets wet let it dry slowly away from any heat. Full guide: How to Clean and Store a Fur Coat.
